Alright, after that last completely unresponded blog post I did manage to ask around and mbrewer recommended reading something on the following:
Venti (not the Starbucks coffee size….I’d never drink Starbucks coffee)
Plan 9 from Bell Labs (it’s mascot is a bunny! how could I refuse to read that?)
Amoeba vs Sprite (? The paper listed on that page? It seems oldish….I guess it really isn’t too old)
StegFS (ooo, crypto…ooo filesystems…I’m intrigued)
